FAQs

How much does it cost?

Registration for a single race (any division) by 12pm on the Friday before the race is $25. After 12pm, registration is still available with an additional $5 late fee. We highly discourage"day of" registration.

What does my kid need to wear?

A wide range of clothing will work just fine but some sort of athletic, breathable clothing is preferred. As for footwear, we suggest that the kids wear running shoes.

Will there be adult supervision?

Volunteers and race staff are placed along the course to assist with keeping young runners on the proper course. They will also will be able to radio to the finish area for help should any runner need assistance or medical attention.

Can I run with my kid?

Yes, one parent/guardian is welcome to run for free with every participant. Adults who choose to be on course must also sign the participation waiver as well; this can be done at packet pickup or on race day.

Do we need to bring water?

We will have at least one water station on every Mini Moose and Junior Moose course and two along a Mighty Moose course. This should be sufficient, but if you or your child believes they will require more water than that for the race, they should carry their own water too.

Are bikes allowed on course?

No.

Are there awards?

Each racer receives a custom logo finisher medal. We will also have results available shortly after each race. We will not hold a podium ceremony in alignment with an emphasis on fun and celebrating every racer equally.

What is included in the entry fee?

We promise an enjoyable and safe race environment, and a great after party with post-race refreshments for all participants. Participants will also receive a unique race medal upon finishing.

Are dogs allowed?

No dogs are allowed on course but well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome at the start/finish area.

What happens if there is bad weather on race day?

We will communicate ahead of race day if, due to the forecast, we are not able to be on the race course. In some instances, our permit will not allow for the race to happen if the trail conditions are too muddy or wet as we want to be good stewards of the trail. On race day, we will watch for thunderstorms or other unsafe running conditions. Otherwise, we plan to run rain or shine!

Will I get a discount for registering for all four races at once?

Yes! Registering for the entire series will result in a $20 savings off the normal cost of the four separate races.

How does this race support the community?

New in 2024, Park City Ski & Snowboard is producing this series. We believe deeply in supporting our community with a variety of youth opportunities. Proceeds from this event go towards our numerous programs for youth athletes.
