PACKET PICKUP:

There will be very limited Packet Pick-Up on Race Day. If you are unable to pick up your packet, please arrange to have someone do so for you during the scheduled packet pick up time.
TRANSPORTATION: We strongly encourage all runners and spectators to get to the race by biking or walking to the event or by carpooling. The free Park City Transportation Dial-A-Ride service (435-640-7819) will also service Quinn's Junction with a reservation.
ARRIVAL TIME: All runners please arrive in time to be at the start area and ready to run by 8:45am.
START TIMES: Mighty Moose start at 9:00am, Junior Moose start at 9:05am, Mini Moose start at 9:10am
LOCATION: Location is near the Quinn's Junction Trailhead in the Round Valley Open Space Area. Please use this address to navigate to start area: 425 Gilmor Way Park City UT 84060. Signs will direct you to the start/finish area.

SAFETY: Safety is first priority for the runners at Moose on the Loose. Racing takes place 100% on dirt and while running on trails, you can expect some ruts, roots, rocks, grass, shade, mud, and other challenges. We have tried to minimize these on our selection of Moose on the Loose courses but some should be expected.
A parent/guardian is welcome to run alongside their little moose during any race for no additional fee. Adults that choose to do so are expected to sign a race waiver.
If for any reason, runners need assistance in making it back to the start/finish area, volunteers placed along the course will be able to radio to the finish area for help.
As runners line up for their respective start time, they will be “checked out.” Once a runner crosses the finish line and the bib tag is pulled, the runner will be “checked in” and will be accounted for. This will help to ensure all runners return safely back to the finish line.
COURSE MARKING: It is of utmost importance to use that the courses are well marked and easy to follow. We utilize both signs staked into the ground, as well as colored flagging tape to mark all courses. There will also be a volunteer stationed anywhere there is a turn or where the course distance may split.
AID STATIONS: There will be one aid station at the halfway point of the Mini Moose race (0.45miles). The Junior Moose course will have an aid station at Mile 0.45 and Mile 1.0 of the 1.6 mile course. The Mighty Moose will have 2 Aid Stations: at Mile 0.45, and at Mile 1.25 of the 3.1 Mile course.
RESTROOMS: Restrooms will be available at the race start/finish area.
CANCELLATION: In the event that a registered runner can not attend, no refunds will be allowed.
In the event that weather prevents the event from taking place, the event will be canceled with the POSSIBILITY of rescheduling; no refunds will be given.
